Summit City Observer wants you to publish with us! Purdue University Fort Wayne students of all majors and disciplines are encouraged to submit any story that matters to them and the community.

The types of stories and media we want to publish include but are not limited to:

  • Campus Activities and Events
  • Local Events
  • Social Movements
  • History of Fort Wayne
  • Investigative Pieces
  • Purdue University Administration
  • Local Art and Music
  • Sports
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Fort Wayne
  • Photography Essays

If there is a story you are interested in publishing with us but it is not listed, we are open to ideas and topics of all kinds. Contact our Student Editor Zoe Abrams or our Faculty Advisor Heloisa S. Wilkerson.

Interested in joining our staff permanently? We are currently recruiting students to become staff writers, editors and creators for the 2019-20 school year. Be some of the first students to join our organization and begin telling stories on a platform designed for students to have their voices heard.

It is only required to attend one meeting. If you cannot make it to either, we are happy to send more information.
